Tax Services

Comprehensive federal and New York State tax preparation, planning, and representation for individuals, families, and businesses of all sizes.

Full-Service Tax Solutions

From straightforward individual returns to multi-entity business filings, we handle every aspect of your tax obligations — accurately and on time.

Individual Tax Returns (Form 1040)

Federal and New York State income tax returns for all situations — W-2 employees, self-employed individuals, investors, rental property owners, and retirees. We handle all schedules including Schedule C, D, E, and SE.

Business Tax Returns

We prepare returns for all business entity types: sole proprietorships, single-member LLCs, partnerships (Form 1065), S-corporations (Form 1120-S), C-corporations (Form 1120), and multi-member LLCs.

Tax Planning & Strategy

Year-round proactive tax planning to minimize your liability. We analyze your situation, advise on timing of income and deductions, retirement contribution strategies, and business structure decisions before year-end.

IRS Representation & Audit Support

If you receive an IRS notice, letter, or audit notice, don't face it alone. As a CPA, Milton can represent you directly before the IRS and New York State Tax Department — handling all correspondence and negotiations on your behalf.

Estate & Trust Tax Returns

We prepare estate tax returns (Form 706) and fiduciary income tax returns (Form 1041) for trusts and estates, helping executors and trustees meet their filing obligations accurately and on time.

Sales Tax Filing

New York State sales tax registration and periodic filing for businesses required to collect sales tax. We also handle sales tax audits and disputes with the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance.

Prior Year Returns & Amendments

Behind on your taxes? We regularly help clients catch up on unfiled returns for multiple years and negotiate payment plans or penalty abatements with the IRS and NYS. We also handle amended returns (Form 1040-X) when corrections are needed.

Estimated Quarterly Tax Payments

We calculate your quarterly estimated tax payments (Form 1040-ES) so you avoid underpayment penalties. This is especially important for self-employed individuals, freelancers, and business owners.

Our Tax Preparation Process

We'll send you a personalized checklist of everything we need — W-2s, 1099s, last year's return, and any relevant expense records. Upload them securely through our client portal or bring them in.

2

Milton Reviews Your Situation

Milton personally reviews your documents, identifies every applicable deduction and credit, and prepares your return. If anything needs clarification, he'll reach out directly.

3

Review, Approve & File

We review the completed return with you, answer any questions, and file electronically once you approve. You receive copies of everything filed and a clear summary of your tax outcome.

Tax Services FAQ

What documents do I need to bring for my tax return?
Common documents include W-2s from employers, 1099s for freelance or investment income, last year's tax return, Social Security numbers for you and dependents, records of deductible expenses (mortgage interest statements, charitable donation receipts, business expenses), and any IRS or NYS notices. After your initial consultation, we'll send you a personalized checklist.
How long does it take to prepare my tax return?
Most individual returns are completed within 1–2 weeks of receiving all your documents. Business returns typically take 2–3 weeks due to their complexity. During peak tax season (February–April), we maintain our turnaround by managing our client load carefully — we'll always keep you updated on timing.
Can you help if I'm behind on my taxes or have IRS debt?
Absolutely. We regularly help clients who haven't filed in one or more years, or who have outstanding balances with the IRS or New York State. We can prepare back returns, negotiate payment plans (installment agreements), and request penalty abatement in qualifying situations. The sooner you address it, the better the outcome.
Do you handle both federal and New York State returns?
Yes. We prepare all federal and New York State income tax returns together as part of our standard service. We also handle New York City resident tax returns and, where applicable, returns for other states (for clients who moved or have income from multiple states).
